Eric has experience prototyping apps and features on the leading Augmented Reality HMD using Windows UWP + MRTK, including 12 months working on Microsoft Remote Assist which comes pre installed on every Hololens and has been used by NASA to help engineers on Earth work directly with astronauts on the international space station.
Eric has been prototyping apps and features on Oculus Quest using ITK + OCUI every day for the past 2 years. He has shipped features for voice navigation of the OS, and prototyped dozens of concepts for the Oculus Voice SDK. His current workstream is dedicated to defining future UX patterns for interacting with augmented content on RayBan smart glasses and beyond.
Eric has been dabbling with Spark AR at Meta off and on in his spare time, experimenting with features like face tracking, body tracking, proximity, and voice input. One of his Instagram AR filters was used by Hefty corporation for their holiday campaign.
Eric is a certified Unity developer and his work in mobile AR has been featured in the Unity certification training program.
